Pastor Sally Cook

The Reverend Sally Cook was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  She is a
graduate of  Valparaiso University with degrees in Psychology and Theology.  She
received her Master of Divinity from Trinity Lutheran Seminary in Columbus, Ohio. 
Prior to entering the ordained ministry she worked as a Pediatric Social Worker in
Hospice and Hospital settings.  Pastor Sally has served congregations in the Greater
Tampa Bay area, Orlando, Sarasota, and most recently in Wellington, Florida.
She has served the wider church as a member of the Florida Bahamas Synod Council and
had the privilege of serving as a voting member to the 2013 ELCA Churchwide
Assembly when The Reverend Elizabeth Eaton was elected as the first female presiding
Bishop of the ELCA.


Pastor Sally and her husband Greg have been married for 34 years. Greg works remotely
as a Manager of Organizational Improvement and Productivity for Junior Achievement of
South Florida. Pastor Sally and Greg are living in Pickerington and are pleased to be a
part of the St Andrew’s community of faith.

MINISTER OF MUSIC - seeking applicants!

Part Time Music Leader / Musician

St Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Pickerington, Ohio, a mission focused community of faith is seeking a musician to implement vibrant new ways to inspire and encourage worshippers utilizing Episcopal Liturgical traditions and contemporary expressions of the faith.

Strong piano and keyboard skills are essential. Vocal skills and organ experience are a plus.  Instruments in the parish include a Steinway baby grand piano and a Yamaha digital piano.

The musician will work closely with the priest to create Spirit filled worship services and will recruit, lead, and accompany singers and musicians within the congregation.

Helpful gifts to have include a passion for worship leadership, an understanding of the rhythm of the Church year and the ability to collaborate with diverse groups within the congregation.

St. Andrew’s currently has one Sunday service at 10am.

Michael Tigner

Michael Tigner is a postulant of the Diocese of Southern Ohio and a student at the Church Divinity School of the Pacific in Berkeley, California. He is completing his first year of studies in partial completion of a master of divinity degree. Michael is pursuing ordination to the priesthood. Michael is married with four children.
